Large size mug, 8.4cm (3¼ inches) height x 9cm (3½ inches) diameter, holding a volume of 13 fl oz or 375ml, made from bone china, dishwasher and microwave proof. Please note size may vary ever so slightly, due to the hand made process.

Inspiration for the painting: My brother James is a keen fisherman and for quite a few years has been going out for a days fishing in the autumn off the Cornish and Devon coast trying to catch one. This was part of the research project Thunnus UK, which is providing a better understanding of the ecology of Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) in the waters of the British Isles by attaching pop-up satellite archival tags that are released after a year, transmitting a summary of data. Plenty of marine life had been seen including including tuna and feeding short-beaked common dolphins and minke whales, and finally with myself observing on the boat in 2022 my brother caught one! Estimated at almost 400lb it was successfully tagged and realeased.
