Artist comment: "I have created this beautifully shaped bowl to complient the larger 27cm Jersey Royal Potato Bowl originally created to mark the 125th anniversary of the first commercial crop of the Jersey Royal. A high sided shaped bowl echoing the lines of the classic shaped Jersey Royal New Potato which has been cultivated on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands for many years, Farmers still use seaweed gathered from the sandy shores as a natural fertiliser, adding to their unique flavour and delicate skin. Harvesting begins in April through to the end of June."
