27 January 2017

Welcoming the Year of the Rooster 新年好 / 新年好

We're preparing for Chinese New Year celebrations on 28th January and getting reading to welcome the Year of the Rooster (people born in this year are said to be honest, energetic, intelligent, flamboyant, flexible, diverse and confident). Richard Bramble's original art featuring roosters and cockerels has always been popular on ceramics and textiles for the home and kitchen, so we're celebrating with a very special offer until 31st January.

To celebrate Chinese New Year (and with Valentine's Day just around the corner!) order anything from our collection before midnight (GMT) on 31st January 2017 and you can save 15% on your order by adding the discount code NY15 as you check out.

Still time for personalised ceramic gifts!

19 December 2016

Personalised gifts - there's still time!

For that extra special Christmas gift, there's still time for a personalised message or inscription which can be hand written on any ceramic piece by Richard for a set charge of £4.50 per piece and finished off with his signature and the year. Richard is available at the Dorset studio until Wednesday 21st December for mail order inscriptions (or personal callers) and then at Borough Market from 22-24th December (see below).

The lettering, which is applied with a black ceramic pen, is dishwasher and oven proof. (We're sorry we cannot inscribe glass pieces, including clocks).

Celebrating Seafood Week 2016 with Richard Bramble

11 October 2016

We're celebrating Seafood Week from 7-14th October - an eight day campaign supporting the incredible variety of fish and shellfish available in the UK. An opportunity to talk about fishing more, shopping more and eating more nutritious seafood. Visit http://www.fishisthedish.co.uk/seafoodweek for events, recipes, competitions and interactive downloads on a fishy theme!

Richard Bramble has promoted fish and shellfish varieties through his art for nearly twenty years, and many of his ceramic ranges directly give back to conservation charities like the Marine Conservation Society, Salmon & Trout Conservation UK and Cornwall's National Lobster Hatchery for the sustainability of our oceans and fish species.
